INTERIOR
This fantastic new villa is one of a kind on the island of Alonissos, in both standard and quality.  Entering this uniquely designed villa, one enters a large L-shaped sitting room which is furnished with comfortable leather sofas and has a dining table set to the side with windows which have a full view of the pool area and toward the sea.  A flat screen TV and music center is found on a side table near the fireplace and the French doors lead to a spacious terrace offering outstanding views over the olive groves to the sea and the swimming pool behind. 

The kitchen is found down a few stairs and is separated from the open plan sitting/dining room by a low wall with railings. This outstanding kitchen leaves nothing to be desired – from the full sized fridge freezer, oven/cooker, microwave, toaster, blender and more.  The tall French Doors lead directly out to a terrace which connects with the sitting room terrace and offers some of the most breathtaking views in all of Alonissos.  The kitchen terrace is furnished with a breakfast table and plenty of seating for the entire family. 

On the opposite end of this huge terrace is a comfy sofa set with chair, ottoman and a low coffee table where one can sit for hours and enjoy the stunning views or cozy up with a good book, taking in these most pristine surroundings. From the main level of the house, one can go upstairs to the 2 bedrooms, bathroom and w/c – or go down stairs to the amazing master suite of the villa.

EXTERIOR
The private property of Villa Lakoto is entered through an electric gate and has video and intercom system from inside the villa, where the drive ends near the main entrance.  Set beautifully to the side to take full advantage of the spectacular views, sits the private swimming. The pool terrace is elevated just above the tree line and seems to be perched just above the sea.  The stunning views over the tops of the olive groves and to the sea beyond combined with the exotic look of the furnishings will ensure the pool will be a favourite area on the property.

Besides the typical pool furniture and sun loungers, Villa Lakoto has some interesting additions to complete the luxurious feel and comfort level of the villa in general.  A Cleopatra-style covered and curtained corner of the terrace adds to the lavish décor and will certainly become the spot of choice for those fair-skinned guests who don’t take well to the Mediterranean sun. These unusual furnishings create an overall exotic look and feel to the whole area.The property is situated just above the beach of Megali Ammos (approx 100m) and has a lighted pathway through the olive grove with a lockable gate at the bottom of the property.  

Upper level – from the main level of the sitting room, a communal water closet is found up just a couple of stairs. From here, a further few stairs, there is a bedroom with two single beds, wall to wall wardrobe and dressing table. The quality furnishings continue throughout the household with the bedrooms decorated in bright, modern colours but keeping a lovely traditional touch.

Continuing up another few stairs, one reaches a large bathroom that is shared by both of the upper level bedrooms. This is a spacious modern room with a full bath and is beautifully decorated in exquisite Italian tiles. The colour scheme is one of a kind and adds a touch of designer luxury to the room. Just a few more stairs lead to the top room of the house which is fully furnished with a dressing table, full sized wardrobe and double bed. This ‘crows nest’ bedroom offers its inhabitants unending views of the blue Aegean below and as far as one can see. Certainly many hours will be spent sitting on the private balcony which is, again, furnished with comfy chairs and a table.

Lower Level – The master suite of the house is situated on the lower level, closest to the sea and beach which is literally just steps from the terrace. This enormous room is uniquely designed offering all one could ask for in a luxury villa. The huge double bed is a beautiful oriental style which sits low to the ground and fits perfectly under the huge picture window behind. This spacious room encompasses nearly the same footprint of the entire upper level of the house which also serves as the upper level terrace. The room is fully furnished with a wall to wall fitted wardrobe and has an in-room Jacuzzi. The modern walk-in shower, w/c and wash basin is located at the back of the room and is partitioned by a colourful glass block wall. Again, the modern textures and strong colour scheme set the room off with a designers touch. The room is also equipped with a huge flat screen TV complete with home cinema, DVD/CD player. One can picture the complete luxury of unwinding with a favourite film on screen whilst enjoying a Jacuzzi soak to fully release the tensions of the day.

In addition, in the privacy of this luxury suite, a hidden kitchenette is at the disposal of those not wanting to emerge into the main house for breakfast or an evening snack. With cupboard doors closing it off completely, this small kitchen unit is complete with cooking rings, fridge, kettle and enough crockery and utensils for use to make a very simple meal or just breakfast and coffee in the privacy of your own room. Besides an indoor seating area, there is also a door to the spacious terrace where al-fresco meals will certainly be the preference of the occupants.

All in all, it is evident that no expense was spared in creating this truly luxury villa which sits in a position beyond compare.

SURROUNDINGS
Villa Lakoto is situated just above the bay of Megali Ammos and the property actually meets one of the many small beaches that skirt the bay.  Those wishing for a beach holiday can be assured that the clean, crystalline waters of this bay are just steps from your door.  This rather remote area of the island is reached via a dirt road which is approximately 4 km long.  The last 400m or so of the road is rather rough; hence a jeep is essential when booking this villa. 

The main town of Patitiri is approximately 8km from the villa.  The beautiful village of Steni Vala is approx 20 minutes drive away where there is a selection of lovely fish tavernas lined along the waters edge.  There is also a well-stocked mini market for your essentials as well as the Thalpos Holidays boat hire center where you can hire a private motor boat of 15 or 30hp.
