Entering into the ground floor of the new Karnagio Beach Villa,
you find a country atmosphere in an open planned sitting room/kitchen
with tiled floors and a corner fireplace. The small kitchen is well
equipped with a full sized cooker. There is also a w/c shower room
on this floor.
The second floor of the villa consists of two bedrooms, one with
double bed and the other with two single beds. They both have spacious
balconies with sea views and are equipped with table and chairs
for enjoying the views from the comfort of your own bedroom. There
is a w/c shower room in the hallway.
EXTERIOR
A large shaded stone terrace running the length of the house is
reached by two French doors from the sitting room. Here sits a large
dining table where you may relax and enjoy the warm breezes caught
up in a good book or enjoying your holiday meals. From here the
views are superb overlooking the pool, the sea and the surrounding
islands beyond.
The occasional fisherman may also be seen from the property, working
on his boat at the boatyard just a short distance away from the
villa (after all Bambakies means "the place where boats come
out of the water"). This however, is unlikely to interfere
with the lovely sea views afforded by the villa's elevated position.
SURROUNDINGS
It is hard to beat the location of this villa, built on the hillside
surrounded by olive groves. The nearest shingle beach is just 100m
away down a steep, rough track and a very pretty little cove is
just a few minutes more by foot. Alternatively, it takes less than
five minutes by car to reach the beautiful beach of Agios Dimitrios
and just a couple of minutes longer in the other direction to visit
the picture-postcard fishing harbour of Steni Vala, a popular stop
for yachtsmen who anchor here to eat in the delightful fish tavernas.
