1. The easiest way to get to Skopelos and Alonissos is by charter flight directly to Skiathos. Many European countries have charter flights directly to  Skiathos Airport and they have a limited number of “Flight only” seats. Charter flights can usually only be booked for 1, 2 or 3 full weeks (i.e. Friday-Friday). From Skiathos there are several ferry and hydrofoil crossings every day to both Skopelos and Alonissos. To Skopelos it takes approx. 45 min and to Alonissos approx. 1 hour by hydrofoil or fast ferry.

2. It is also possible and convenient to travel via the 2nd largest city in Greece, Thessaloniki. From Thessaloniki there is a direct hydrofoil to Skopelos / Alonissos and back once a day which takes approx. 3 hours only and costs approx. 35 Euro o/w. This service usually runs from mid-June to mid-September.
 
3. From some European countries you can also fly directly from the UK to Greece's 3rd largest city, Volos. Skopelos and Alonissos are only a taxi drive and a couple of hours by boat away. Several crossings a day from Volos to the islands by hydrofoil and high speed ferry.

4. The 4th possibility is to go via Athens. From Athens there are 3 ways of getting to Skopelos:
