Entering Villa Anateska into cool slate floors and wood beamed ceilings, one feels as if stepping into a cool haven. Fully adorned with relics and collectables, the walls and furnishings are very traditional.  One immediately recognizes this as a real home with all of the comforts that come along with it.

From the entrance and to the right side of an enormous, two level open planned room is a well-equipped country style kitchen.  The dining area is close by for easy serving of meals, plus there is also a lovely terrace just outside of the main door.  This covered terrace is full of flowers and mature plants and is furnished with a large dining table and has easy access to the kitchen. 

A few steps down beyond a small seating area with a writing desk which overlooks the sitting room, is the spacious sitting room.  A fireplace and television area is furnished with a traditional built-in sofa and chairs.  The room has plenty of nooks and crannies where one can quietly sit with a good book.  There is even a double bed for an afternoon snooze which can also be used as extra sleeping space allowing the villa to sleep 8 in total.  A w/c shower room is just at the bottom of the stairs.  

The master suite makes up the entire top floor of the villa which has a full length balcony overlooking the fabulous and lush landscaping of the property.  In addition, there is a smaller balcony on the opposite side. The room is furnished with a double bed, a spacious full bathroom and a small fridge for cold drinks.  A stairway from this master bedroom leads to the roof terrace.  This covered terrace is fully furnished with table, chairs and a couple of sun lounges.  The views are fabulous and take in the harbour and picturesque whitewashed town. 

A second bedroom with a separate entrance is found to the side of the main villa.  This apartment has its own terrace and is traditionally furnished.  The room is spacious and comfortably furnished with a double bed.  In addition, there is a sitting/lounging area, en-suite w/c shower room and a small kitchenette which is suitable for making coffee and light breakfast.  Amenities include a small fridge as well as air-conditioning. 

A third bedroom is situated underneath the pool area and its cute arched windows and doors add a traditional touch to the style.  The room is brightly decorated in blues and light accents.  This apartment is fully furnished with a double bed, has a dining area and kitchenette and facilities for light cooking.  There is an en-suite w/c shower room and amenities include a small fridge as well as air-conditioning.     

EXTERIOR
The exterior spaces of Villa Anateska are probably its most stunning asset. With patios and terraces galore, there are numerous places to hide away from the world.  Whether it is the sun or shade you are searching for – you are spoilt for choice in this villa.  Large dining tables are set near the BBQ, on the spacious front terrace as well as next to the pool so meals can be enjoyed in all areas.  Smaller tables are tucked away into corners lush with flowers and climbing plants where one can enjoy a morning coffee in the sun or sit with a good book
The landscaping is mature and stunning and at every turn one finds a new delight on this enormous property.  The gated pool area is private and beautifully kept.  The large pool has easy steps to enter and is perfect for laps or a family game of water polo.  There is a bar with fridge and full sized dining table so that one will rarely have to leave this wonderful spot, not even for meals. 

SURROUNDINGS
Villa Anateska sits on a hillside just a few kilometres from Skopelos Town.  The villa sits on a secondary road which is rarely used so peacefulness and quiet are assured.  Just a 45 minute walk for a few minutes drive are two of the islands most popular and beautiful beaches, Stafilos and Velanio. A short walk to town in about 25 minutes will lead you to the picturesque waterfront of Skopelos with its array of cafes, shops and restaurants.The surrounding hillsides are olive covered and have many walking and hiking trails to explore.

Villa Anateska is perfect for both couples and families.  The privacy of the separated bedrooms is perfect for couples wanting to holiday together but have their own apartment, complete with kitchenette.  Families can also enjoy the expansive outdoor areas and large swimming pool with BBQ area which is great for all.
