INTERIOR
The charming Glysteri Cottage is set in walled gardens just off the road to Glysteri Beach and entry from the garden is into the airy and spacious living / dining room with the kitchen area off to one side. The living room has two comfortable sofas (one converts to a sofa bed) and a Satellite TV with DVD and CD player, with windows overlooking the garden and pool area. The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a full cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The dining table sits between the living room and kitchen and there is a wc/shower room with vanity unit off the kitchen, which also houses the washing machine. This ground floor has tiled floors which are nice and cool for the hot summer weather.
Wooden stairs lead up to the first floor and the two bedrooms and wc/shower room. The twin bedded room has two sets of French windows leading out to decked balconies; one with sea view and one overlooking the garden and pool. The double bedroom has French windows out to a decked balcony which overlooks the garden and pool and a window with views of the olive grove. Both bedrooms have traditional wooden ceilings and wooden floors and plenty of wardrobe space. The spacious shower room has a half bath with shower over and is light and airy.
EXTERIOR
Glysteri Cottage is set in its own lovely walled gardens just off the beach road. The private swimming pool is set to one side with four wooden sunbeds from which to soak up the Greek sunshine and to the side of the house and close to the pool is the built in BBQ and traditional outdoor sink. An outdoor dining table and chairs is next to the BBQ under a shady pergola. On the opposite side of the garden to the pool is a private parking area which is shaded by vines.
SURROUNDINGS
Approximately 6km from Skopelos Town and all its amenities, Glysteri Cottage is located amongst peaceful olive groves which line the road to Glysteri Beach. Glysteri is one of the quieter beaches on the island and has some of the clearest waters to be found as well as its own taverna and small family museum just 500m from the house. There are a number of walking/goat trails closeby SUITABILITY
