INTERIOR
Villa Katerina is a modern and completely private villa set on the green hillside above Skopelos Town.  Entry is into the airy split level, open plan sitting / dining room with wooden, open-beamed ceilings and a well equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, off to one side.  A small, built in breakfast table and chairs is conveniently placed next to the kitchen and, in front of French windows leading out to the large pool terrace, is a large family dining table for more formal meals. 

The spacious sitting room is down two steps from the dining area and is furnished with comfortable sofas, TV and bookshelves and, again, French windows leading out to the landscaped gardens and pool terrace complete with outdoor furniture from which to relax and take in the stunning views down the valley to Glysteri bay.  A door from the dining area leads to a small hallway which, in turn, leads to a double bedroom with a sea facing patio and a separate wc/shower room.

Stairs from this small hallway lead up to the first floor where there is a long landing to a further spacious double bedroom and a twin-bedded room.  Both bedrooms have French windows leading to private sea-facing balconies and share a family bathroom complete with both shower and bathtub.

EXTERIOR
Villa Katerina is completely private and stands in its own extensive grounds with large terraces from which to take advantage of the fabulous views over the sea towards Alonissos and down the valley to Glysteri Bay.

The large pool terrace is surrounded by mature fruit trees, such as almond and fig, as well as lawned areas with flowers and, to one side and overlooking the pool, the BBQ and outdoor kitchen, complete with outdoor dining table for those al fresco meals.  A dirt road of approximately 400m leads to the villa from the main, asphalt, Raches road.

SURROUNDINGS
This peaceful and private property is set in its own extensive gardens in the quiet countryside area of Raches but less than 10 minutes drive from Skopelos Town.  The nearest beach is Glyfoneri, just a few minutes drive from the villa with Glysteri beach and its taverna approximately 10 minutes away by car.  Given its countryside location, this is an ideal place from which to explore the area on foot as there are many old donkey trails nearby which can take the keen walker right across the island to Panormos and Elios.

SUITABILITY
With three bedrooms, private pool and amazing views, Villa Katerina is perfect for either families or couples travelling together.  The separate bedrooms offer privacy and the private swimming pool and outdoor kitchen will certainly be a favourite spot from which to relax over a glass of wine and make the most of the views.  The ground floor of the house is suitable for wheelchair users, with easy access to kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom.
