INTERIORS
This unique and enchanting house is entered into the sitting room which is open plan with the kitchen and a small w/c. This one-level house is decorated in rich coloured walls, terra cotta floors and dark wood-beamed ceilings.
A wood burning heater on one wall adds a cozy feel to the room which is furnished with a comfortable sofa (which converts to a bed for extra sleeping for 2 persons) and dark wooden chairs and tables with views to the harbour from the spacious windows.
The dark wood furniture with colourful coverings and pillows add to the warm and comforting atmosphere. From this room there is a French door leading to a roomy terrace with the same lovely views and has access to the swimming pool.

The spacious open-plan kitchen is located off the living room which is fully equipped with full size cooker/oven and all modern conveniences. There is a small breakfast table but most meals will probably be taken on the terrace which is furnished with an ample dining table and comfortable chairs. A small w/c is located between the living room and kitchen.
A doorway from the kitchen leads to the spacious double bedroom and en suite wc/shower room with windows from which to admire the stunning views down the wooded valley to Skopelos town and the sea beyond.
EXTERIOR
The exterior walls have been painted in bright colours, a look taken from ancient times and which complement the surroundings. There is a BBQ and outside dining table with the private swimming pool and spacious pool terrace to one side of the house and close to the shady pergola. Kentavros has its own “privacy” walls and gated entrance from the access drive with a further door in the high wall leading to Villa Pegasus, next door, for those larger groups who would like to book both villas.

SURROUNDINGS
Villa Kentavros is one of three villas set in their own grounds in the peaceful area of Pefkias, on the hillside above Skopelos Town affording it lovely views of the harbour. Kentavros has its own driveway and sits above Villa Arktos and next door to Villa Pegasus. The villa is completely private and not overlooked by the other two villas.
It is surrounded by pine forests and close to many of the old donkey tracks across the island. There are lots of places to explore while walking and hiking, even down to the beaches of Limnonari and Agnondas which are approx 45 minutes by foot from the cottage. In any direction you will find natural springs and small chapels scattered in the hillsides.
SUITABILITY
Villa Kentavros is ideal for two people looking for a romantic and peaceful get-a-way whilst being close to the amenities of Skopelos Town, only 10 minutes away by car. It is the perfect spot for walkers, with easy access to many trails, as well as for painters who will appreciate the wonderful scenery.
