INTERIOR
Entering Villa Levanda, the attractive country atmosphere and spaciousness makes an immediate impression. The large living room has a corner fireplace and the modern, open plan kitchen is situated near the door to the patio and pool for easy serving of al fresco meals. This newly built, expansive villa attractively combines a modern and a country island style. In addition to the sitting room and kitchen, the ground floor also comprises a bedroom with a single bed and a w/c shower room.

Upstairs there are three more bedrooms, two with double bed and 1 with two single beds. In one of the double rooms, the bed is an example of the original country-style bedrooms found in the olden days.  This type of bed (running wall to wall) was used during the days when families spent many days in the countryside.  It was intended to provide sleeping space for all the family together during olive or fruit picking season when the weather was chilly and they only heated one room. Today this type of bed works well for both adults and couples, but also makes a fun sleeping space for 3-4 children. The private balcony has lovely views through the olive groves to a peek sea view.

Of the other two bedrooms upstairs, one has a double bed (slightly narrower than normal double but adequate for couples still) and the other has 2 single beds. The shared balcony faces toward the pool and valley of Stafilos which is covered with olive groves and pine trees. Catching the late afternoon sun, the views are stunning and offer peek sea views. All of the upstairs rooms have lovely open wood beamed ceilings adding a warm country feel to the spaces.  The balconies are all furnished with table and chairs to enjoy a private morning coffee or a nightcap before retiring. This is the perfect place to relax with these fabulous views of the surrounding nature.

EXTERIOR
Levandas’ spacious terraces and outdoor areas are some of its best features.  One can imagine spending many sunny days and long balmy evenings around the pool area taking all meals ‘al fresco’ at this villa. The traditional built-in BBQ is great for cooking outdoor meals and the seating area has a huge thatched umbrella to shade from the mid-day sun.  The Stafilos valley is known for its lovely breezes throughout the summer which help to keep the temperatures moderate here.  The sparkling pool takes pride of place in its elevated position overlooking the valley below.  Privacy is assured as the villa sits alone on its hillside location, far from any other houses. This very peaceful setting is perfect for those wanting a holiday undisturbed.

SURROUNDINGS
The great location of Villa Levanda makes it easy to pop to the beach or town anytime.  For those who enjoy walking and hiking - two of the islands loveliest beaches of Stafilos and Velanio can be reached by foot in about 10-15 minutes from the villa.  In the opposite direction is Skopelos town and can be reached in approximately 45 minutes by foot.  Of course by car, both beach and town can be reached in just a few short minutes.

The villa is situated on the hillside near the small community of Stafilos where there are several restaurants and a mini market for your essentials.  There are lots of walking trails in the area with acres and acres of olive groves and lovely sea views by walking along the nearby south coast of the island.

Villa Levanda is a great choice for those wishing a quiet holiday in the countryside with a private pool and beautiful surroundings.  The close proximity of Skopelos town makes it a great choice for families and large parties who want some activity in the evenings without a long drive home. Beach lovers will also be pleased with having two of the islands best beaches close at hand.
