INTERIOR
The first impression when entering Villa Nereides is its spacious feeling with tall windows giving the rooms plenty of natural light. The open plan kitchen and sitting room has lots of space for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful views out to sea. The tones are natural with greens and browns and the fireplace is a feature of the room. The furnishings are quality and comfortable including a breakfast table in the kitchen area of the room. Double French doors lead to a balcony which is slightly raised from the pool terrace.
One bedroom is located on the ground floor of the villa, which is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. The en-suite w/c shower room has a second door which can be reached directly from the sitting room for convenience of all. This bedroom does not have air-conditioning but can be left open to the sitting room that is air-conditioned.
Continuing upstairs to the upper floor of the villa, there is a shared w/c shower room and two bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and one bedroom has two single beds. The rooms are freshly decorated in bright summer colours, each having its own private balcony facing the fabulous views to the sea. The upstairs bedrooms and sitting room are air-conditioned.
EXTERIOR
The villa is constructed using all local materials of stone and wood in keeping with the architecture of the island. The outdoor spaces of Villa Nereides are spacious and enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding nature and to the sea. The pool is perfect for a refreshing dip offering respite from long lazy days in the sun. The sunsets from the villa are stunning as this is a south west facing villa. There is plenty of room for kids to play and parking for all.
The small cottage next door to the villa was used in the past as a farm house and to make local cheeses. It is unused today.
SURROUNDINGS
Villa Nereides is perfectly located between two of the islands most popular beaches, Stafilos and Agnondas. Both beaches are well known for their tavernas, particularly Agnondas which is a quaint little fishing village. Local fisherman sell their catch directly off the boats to the tavernas that line the waterfront. The villa is also conveniently located just a few minutes drive from Skopelos town with its full array of shops, cafes and tavernas.
SUITABILITY
Villa Nereides is great for both couples and larger families. There are plenty of outdoor spaces for families with children. Couples can enjoy romantic sunsets and be near both beaches and nightlife. Villa Nereides is perfect for those who want to have it all at hand, just a few minutes drive to fabulous beaches and some of the islands best food – what more could one ask for!
