INTERIOR
Rania Villa is entered via the ground floor sitting room and its décor is traditional Skopelitian. Its pretty country style is simple, yet has a cozy, comfortable feel to it. The living room has windows facing to the harbour allowing cool sea breezes to keep summer temperatures comfortable. There are French doors leading to a patio with outdoor table and continues on to the terrace with private swimming pool. The views from here are fabulous down to the harbour and Skopelos Town. A large table sits on the patio overlooking the pool and views and is convenient to the kitchen for easy serving. There is a w/c shower room as well as a bedroom with two single beds on this ground level.
The wooden stairway from the kitchen leads to two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both air-conditioned. Both rooms have double French doors leading to a spacious shared terrace with the most fantastic views of the entire valley down to the sea. There is a w/c shower room in the hallway for the use of both bedrooms. Rania Villa has air conditioning in the sitting room and satellite TV (English channels limited - no movie/pay TV).

EXTERIOR
Situated on a hillside less than 2 km southeast of the town, Villa Rania was built in attractive traditional style, with white-washed walls and a tiled slate roof. The building, its pool and terraces is built for complete privacy. The newly added private swimming pool is the perfect spot, set amongst the olive and fruit trees, to spend long days lazing in the warm Greek sun.

For larger parties or groups wanting accommodation near one another, Rania Maisonettes and Studio are situated on the same property, two levels above the villa and has a shared swimming pool. Please see the description separately.

Rania Villa is situated in a peaceful position amidst gloriously unspoiled countryside with splendid views over the rolling hills and down to the harbour and the whitewashed town of Skopelos. The location in the hills makes for a perfectly quiet get-away, but with all the amenities of Skopelos Town just a few minutes’ drive away. There you will find plenty of shops full of colourful buys, restaurants and typical tavernas. The nearest beaches at Stafilos and Velanio are only 4 km away and offer beautiful shingle beaches and clear azure seas. Keen walkers will find plenty of suitable terrain on their doorstep, with Skopelos Town centre being approximately 30 minutes away by foot. |
