INTERIOR
Upon entering the well-designed Cabanas of Skopelos Holidays Hotel & Spa there is a main, open plan sitting room with the kitchenette off to the side of the room.  The most unique feature of the Cabanas is the wooden ceilings which form the circular shape of the entire building.  The sitting room is furnished with two sofas which fold out into single beds, a coffee table and television.  The small kitchenette sits off to one side and is equipped with a two-ringed hot plate and fridge.  It is perfect for cooking simple breakfasts and snacks.  There is plenty of wardrobe space in the sitting room for those sleeping on the sofas.  The bedrooms are situated on opposite sides of the sitting room with one having a double bed and the other, two single beds. 
The entire Cabana is decorated in earthy colours from the curtains to the bed covers.  There is a fully re-modeled w/c shower room off of the sitting room and all three of the main rooms have double French doors which lead out to the pool terrace and have views of the pool and hillsides opposite. 

EXTERIOR
The pool terraces of the eight Cabanas are spacious with landscaping and flowers skirting the low walls that surround the pools.  There are wooden tables and chairs for taking meals al-fresco and from the pool areas and from some Cabanas there are distant views of Skopelos town and harbour.  Opposite the units are hillsides covered with olive groves.

Skopelos Holidays Hotel and Spa has recently changed ownership and the entire hotel has been refurbished with many lovely traditional island touches.  There is a large reception area including a breakfast room which extends to an expansive terrace overlooking the pool. The newly opened Elia Restaurant and pool bar offers both traditional cuisine as well as international on their menu.  From the terrace there are wonderful views to Skopelos Town and the harbour. 
In addition to your private pool at the Cabana there is a communal swimming pool and a children’s pool for the general use of all of the hotel guests.

SURROUNDINGS
The hotel is located on the main road that runs from Skopelos Town to Stafilos and Velanio beaches, two of the most popular and beautiful beaches on the island.  Only 1 km to town and 3km from the beach, it is the perfect location for families and couples who want to be close to all.  One can walk from the hotel to town in about 15 minutes to the lively waterfront where there are plenty of choices of tavernas, cafes and shops.  The other direction will take you to the nearest beaches in approximately 50 minutes along a back road which passes by quaint churches and old springs.  The hotel sits on 5 acres of land which enjoys lovely views toward the town and harbour. 

SUITABILITY
The private pools at the Cabanas are an added plus for couples and those who don’t want to venture far from the room.  The hotel’s main swimming pool is a great place for children and teenagers to make new friends.  The central location of the Cabanas at Skopelos Holidays Hotel and Spa makes it a great choice for all who want to be close to the town’s amenities.
