OUR PHILOSOPHY

We have put together a selection of villas, country houses and apartments on the islands of Skopelos, Skiathos & Alonissos, which we have chosen during our years of operating in the area and which cover a variety of accommodation from a luxury villa with private pool, to a comfortable studio with cooking facilities. On the islands of Corfu, Paxos and Lefkada, we offer a large range of villas – specializing in beach front properties and fabulous sea view accommodation from simple to luxury.

Holidaying with us means that you have more flexibility in choosing your arrival and departure dates i.e. some of our clients prefer to holiday for 10 days instead of the usual 7 or 14 days.

Although we do not offer flights we will assist you through our licensed partners in UK and other countries to find the best suitable flight at a competitive rate. All of our properties offer comfortable accommodation, ranging from simple to luxurious, and many are close to a beach and within easy access of a town.

The six islands that we feature in this site, namely Skopelos, Skiathos and Alonissos which belong to the Sporades island group and Corfu, Lefkada and Paxos belonging to the Ionian island group and are strikingly beautiful, very green and verdant compared with the other Greek islands.

While the islands share a similar landscape with dense pine forests and fruit orchards, they all have their very own distinct personalities. All six islands have something to offer to the holiday maker, whether they are looking for night life, quiet beaches, water sports, mountain walks or just a hideaway from everything!

OUR SERVICES

Thalpos includes a full cleaning and linen change two times per week (most properties). Please see individual property listing for details on cleaning. Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request before arrival at an extra fee.

Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, hampers, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

The Thalpos Holidays service office is located on the main harbourfront in Skopelos town. We are open daily (except Sundays), mornings and evenings for any questions, information or problems you may have. In the Ionian Islands, our local agents will be on hand to personally care for your needs.

Our friendly staff can help you arrange excursions, car hire, provide tips on what to see or do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our goal is to give you personalised service to make your holiday both in the Sporades and Ionian Islands a most memorable one.

Transfers

Upon arrival to your destination island, Skopelos/Alonissos, Corfu/ Lefkada/Paxos you will be personally met by our representative and given driving instructions to the villa. In addition to a comprehensive Thalpos Holidays villa folder in your villa, a personal villa visit can be arranged for any time during your stay to answer individual queries. Also note that an escorted transfer to your villa can be arranged in advance at an extra fee. Please contact our office staff for further details on escorted transfers.

Full arrival transfers from Skiathos and Corfu airports can be arranged, which include a greeting at the airport, taxi to the respective ports and boat or sea plane tickets to your destination island. The prices depend on mode of transportation to the islands via ferry boat, hydrofoil or seaplane. Full transfers to both the Sporades and Ionian islands can also be arranged from Athens and Thesaloniki airports which include a taxi to the nearest port of departure and boat or sea plane tickets to island of destination.
